Tahoe Ski Season

Most Tahoe ski resorts open their season in late November each year. Ski season generally lasts until the 1st or 2nd week of April each year, but the best powder conditions are in winter.

There is nothing as magical as seeing the snow-covered fir, pine and cedar trees surrounding the Tahoe Basin and then zipping down hill on your skis or snowboard. If you want to skip all the mountain action but seek an idyllic winter retreat spot, visit one of Tahoe’s resorts, lodges or fine dining spots during your cozy vacation!

Tahoe offers it all – action, adventure, comfort, quiet and luxury entertainment under starry skies and snow filled Sierra mountain ranges.
